Penstemon ‘Blackbird’

Penstemon ‘Blackbird’ — An upright perennial producing deep maroon trumpet shaped flowers on long dark stems throughout summer and autumn. A striking choice for sunny borders and cut flower gardens.

Key uses: Perennial borders, cottage gardens, pollinator planting and cut flowers.

Growing conditions: Full sun, fertile well drained soil and good air circulation. Remove spent flower stems to encourage repeat flowering and avoid covering the crown with mulch.
